ARIZONA TAX RECOVERY PROGRAM

Arizona Department of Revenue has announced a limited-time amnesty program for non-filers and under-reporters who wish to avoid the state tax controversy and resolve their potential Ariona tax laibilities. The amnesty program is called the "State of Arizona Tax Recovery Program"

and runs only from September 1, 2011 to October 1, 2011. The Program allows Arizona taxpayers who owe back taxes to make arrangements to pay those back taxes without penalty or criminal prosecution. The following taxes are included in the Tax Recovery Program: individual income; corporate income; transaction privilege tax (sales); use tax; withholding tax; partnership tax; fiduciary and luxury tax.

There are many requirements and short time periods in which to prepare and files the needed returns. Both individuals and businesses that owe back taxes are eligible, including non-residents and part-year resident individuals, as well as out-of-state businesses.
